TERMS & CONDITIONS OF OUR OFFERING

Your will be asked to sign this turms and conditions agreement prior to the start of step one! This is mainly to ensure that you understand that the purchase of a domain name and securing a hosting location is non-reversable and charges will not be refunded under any circumstances! This would be part of the letter you receive providing you with a clear understanding of what your obligations would be in establishing a web site.

I _________________________________would like Business Intelligence(BI) to register my selected domain name and acquire a hosting location for my web site. I would also like BI to move to step one, above, to determine the scope and requirements for my web site. I understand that after the completion of phase one I will be told the cost of the entire project(not to exceed $500 for the basic design). I also understand that the cost of my selected domain name and the setup charge for the hosting location (not to exceed $100) is due when this agreement is entered into, and shall not be refundable if I decide to stop this project process for any reason.

We have a number of offerings, however I would recommend you start with a basic package. This would consist of the following:

  • Your own domain name* (you pick it, and if available its yours; we can also assist in your selection)
  • Your own web site (basic design) **
  • Unlimited number of email addresses (john-doe@yourdomainmane.com/net/org)
  • Hosting for your site(with no monthly charge)
  • 1 year limited support services
This is a complete package.(The domain name is for a period of two(2) years. The is an annual charge of approximately $30 per year after that.) This can normally be accomplished, normally, in 7 to 10 working days(after phase one). The domain name, hosting location, design and setup cost would not exceed $500(for the basic offering  Note: currently the average cost is between $750 and $1,000 due to option requests and additional pages). Exact costs would be determine by such things as your decision to include photographs, provided by yourself or taken by us. Also any custom navigation buttons or graphics that you may require are not include in this basic offering. To give you an idea of a basic design/layout please direct your browser to HTTP://www.microworld.com/bi. Anything shown on that site would be included in the basic package.

There are three phases to this process and you would be asked to participate in each. We would require only an hour or two of your time. This will vary depending on your desire for design and function.

The first phase would be the selection of a domain name and a discussion about the basic layout of your web site. Here we would discuss the way you want to present your business offerings to you perspective customers. You will also be required to supply technical background information about your business and specific information about your company/organization.

The second phase would be a review of our understanding of your site requirement. This would be presented as a draft site either on the BI test site or on a computer at the BI location.

The third phase would be your acceptance of the completed web site. BI will provide you all the technical support you will need. For an additional fee we would maintain your site with updates and changes that you may require. We will also provide a pay-as-you-go system of support for your site. Either way BI will be there to assist you in your changing needs.

* How many characters can my domain name by and what characters can I use? You may select any combination of 63 characters, including the hyphen(-). The valid characters for domain names are the alphabet, numbers and hyphens. Domain names are not case sensitive, therefore you could use YourDomainName.Com or yourdomainnanme.com and there is NO difference. Note that while upper and lower case letters are allowed in domain names, no significance is attached to the case. That is, two names with the same spelling but different case are to be treated as if identical. A domain name cannot start or end with a hyphen. Special characters such as exclamation marks (!), question marks (?), and underscores (_) are NOT allowed. There can be NO spaces in a domain name. BIknows.com will complete the registration process for you, for any and all domain names that meet the above criteria. (however shorter is better, in most cases)
** Your web site can be as elaborate as your want it to be, however simple is better. Here you can see an example of a basic site! Anything included in this example can be part of the basic offering!
